About Exhibition
Gallery 4710 presents the duo show "Me and You, You and Me" by two artists of different generation, Keti Kapanadze and Alexander Beglarishvili.
The exhibition presents the artists’ recent works, united by the element steel.
The exhibition is the combination of two independent artistic researches, who combine the exhibition as a one whole installation.
The exhibition will open on Sunday, November 14 and will last until December 14.
Keti Kapanadze (1962) was born in Tbilisi. While still a student at the Art Academy in Tbilisi, she produced her first conceptual graphical and photo works in 1983, she was the first conceptual artist in Georgia in Soviet times. Since that time her works are part of the permanent exhibition of the Norton and Nancy Dodge Collection of Nonconformist Art from the USSR at the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers, USA.
From 1990 to 1999 she worked abroad, supported by scholarships from the Sheffield City Polytechnic, the cca Contemporary Art Center, Glasgow, the BAK Swiss Federal Foundation, Berne, and the IAAB Christoph Merian Stiftung, Basel. She also won First Prize in Photography awarded by the “Open Society Georgia” in 1997 in Tbilisi. She was also one of the editors of the Georgian art magazine “Signal” which she helped launch in 1998.
In 2000 Keti left her country for Germany, supported by the Baumann Stiftung. In 2001, she was invited as Visiting Professor for the Painting Class a Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. In 2007 she was awarded a scholarship by Cité des Arts in Paris, Ministry of Science, Research and Culture, Paris, France. Her works are in important European collections, such as: Museum Bochum; Stuttgart State Gallery; Ministry of Culture, Stuttgart;European Patent Office, München; State Art State Gallery Göppingen; MMoma Moscow.
Today, Keti lives and works in Bonn, Germany.
Alexander Beglarishvili (b. 1999) is a Visual artist. Currently a student at Städelschule, graduated from VA[A]DS (Visual arts and Design School at Free University). He mainly works on installations using textile and metal. Beglarishvili’s artistic practice is based around creating an emotional sanctuaries and safe spaces at various locations. Working on the contrasts of Eastern Orthodox practices and queer culture, his work functions as a personal guide book translating his environment to a more legible construct.

Who am I, the one who sits in my body and relizes that she thinks, or the one who in the mirror calls her reflection myself. The world travels in a continuous stream of consciousness from outside to inside, from inside to outside, as if there are no walls, no obstacles, physical laws, or biological rules, from me to you, from you to me. გამოფენის შესახებ
გალერეა 4710 წარმოგიდგენთ ორი სხვადასხვა თაობის ხელოვანის, ქეთი კაპანაძის და ალექსანდრე ბეგლარიშვილის დუო შოუს „მე და შენ, შენ და მე“.
გამოფენაზე წარმოდგენილია ხელოვანების ბოლო პერიოდში შექმნილი ნამუშევრები, რომლის საერთო ხაზი რკინის მასალაა.
გამოფენა წარმოადგენს ორი ხელოვანის ინდივიდუალურ კვლევის საგანს, რომლებიც ერთი მთლიანი ინსტალაციის სახით გამოფენაზე ერთიანდება.
გამოფენა გაიხსნება კვირას, 14 ნოემბერს და გაგრძელდება 14 დეკემბრის ჩათვლით.
ქეთი კაპანაძე (1962) დაიბადა თბილისში. 1983 წლისთვის, სანამ ჯერ კიდევ სამხატვრო აკადემიის სტუდენტი იყო, ხელოვანს უკვე შექმნილი ქონდა თავისი პირველი კონცეპტუალური გრაფიკული და ფოტო ნამუშევრები. იგი საბჭოთა პერიოდის საქართველოს პირველი კონცეპტუალური არტისტია. იმ დროიდან მოყოლებული კაპანაძის ნამუშევრები Norton and Nancy Dodge-ის მუდმივ ექსპოზიციაშია. ასევე საბჭოთა კავშირის არაკომფორმისტული ხელოვნების კოლექციაში Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum-ში, აშშ. 1990 წლიდან 1999 წლამდე მუშაობდა საზღვარგარეთ The Sheffield City Polytechnic, the CCA, Contemporary Art Center, Glasgow, the BAK Swiss Federal Foundation, Berne, და the IAAB Christoph Merian Stiftung, Basel - ის დაფინანსებით. 1997 წელს მიიღო „ღია საზოგადოება საქართველოს“ პირველი ჯილდო ფოტოგრაფიაში. 1998 წლიდან იყო ქართული ჟურნალის, „სიგნალის“ რედაქტორი.

ალექსანდრე ბეგლარიშვილი (1999) ვიზუალური ხელოვანია. სწავლობს Städelschule-ში დადაამთავრა DS(ვიზუალური ხელოვნების, არქიტექტურისა და დიზაინის სკოლა). ის ძირითადად მუშაობს ინსტალაციებზე - ტექსტილითა და მეტალის გამოყენებით. ბეგლარიშვილის სახელოვნებო პრაქტიკა დაფუძნებულია ემოციური თავშესაფრისა და დაცული სივრცის აგებაზე. მართლმადიდებლური პრაქტიკისა და ქვიარ კულტურის კონტრასტზე მუშაობით, მისი ნამუშევრები საკუთარი კულტურის მეტად გასაგებ ენაზე გადათარგმნის ინსტრუმენტი ხდება.

ვინ ვარ მე, ის, ვინც ჩემს ტანში ზის და აცნობიერებს რომ აზროვნებს, თუ ის, ვინც სარკეში თავის ანარეკლს ეძახის მეს.
სამყარო გაცნობიერების უწყვეტ ნაკადად მოგზაურობს გარედან შიგნით, შიგნიდან გარეთ, თითქოსდა არ არსებობდეს კედლები, დაბრკოლებები, ფიზიკური კანონები, ბიოლოგიური წესები, ჩემიდან შენში, შენიდან ჩემსი. და რა განსხვავებაა მაშინ ჩვენს შორის? ხომ შეიძლება რომ ჩემი ცნობიერება იყოს შენი და შენი ტანი იყოს ჩემი. და თუ ასეა, რა მოხდება, რომ მე ვიყო შენ და შენ იყო მე ახლა.
გადააბიჯე
გადააბიჯე ფიზიკური წესების ფარდას,

რომელიც გადალახავს საკუთარ თავზე ზრუნვის და სიჯანსაღის იმ განყენებულ, ტყუილ საზღვრებს, რის მიღმაც მემალები.

გამოჭედე სუფთა რკინის პერანგი,
მე ორგანზაში დაგხვდები.
